Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Tranlight Studio ("the App", "we") handles when you connect a TikTok account. The App is a personal tool operated by Tranlight for uploading videos to the operator's own TikTok account.

1. Information we collect

When you authorize the App through TikTok Login Kit, TikTok provides us with:

Your TikTok open_id (an app-specific account identifier).
An access token and refresh token, plus their expiry times and the granted scopes.
Basic profile information covered by the user.info.basic scope, if requested.

We do not collect your TikTok password, contacts, messages, location, viewing history, or any payment information.

2. How we use information

To upload video files you choose to your TikTok account as drafts, using the video.upload scope.
To check the processing status of those uploads.
To refresh tokens so you do not have to sign in again for each upload.

We do not use this information for advertising, profiling, analytics, or any purpose other than the uploads you request.

3. Storage and security

Tokens are stored only in a local file on the operator's own computer, with file permissions restricted to the operator's user account. They are not stored on any server or database operated by us, and they are never included in source code repositories.

Videos are sent directly from the operator's computer to TikTok's servers over HTTPS.

4. Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties. Data is exchanged only with TikTok, as required to perform the upload.

5. Retention and deletion

Tokens are kept only while the App is in use. You can revoke the App's access at any time in the TikTok app under Settings and privacy → Security → Apps and services (menu names may vary). Deleting the local token file removes all stored data immediately. You may also contact us to request deletion.

6. Children

The App is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under the minimum age required to use TikTok.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above will reflect the latest version.
